Ever fancied yourself at the controls of some serious military vehicles churning through mud and roaring up hills? eXhilaration have arranged for that once in a lifetime experience: an introduction to the art of tank driving.

What does the activity include?
This Tank Course has been specially designed deep in the Hampshire countryside to give you the tank driving experience of a lifetime. This course will test both your nerve and driving ability to the full.
This is a hectic half day event where you will drive a 432 Armoured Personnel Carrier, an Abbott Tank and a Chieftain Main Battle Tank. To finish of the session you’ll drive either a Quad Bike or a standard Off-Road Vehicle depending on the conditions on the day.
Each vehicle will have an experienced instructor briefed to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment. Ratio of instructors to drives will be 1:5.
Refreshments and a Certificate are included.

What should I wear/take?
Please wear casual clothing and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We recommend durable outdoor clothing you will not mind being soiled. Boots and waterproofs especially during wet weather.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Please allow 3-4 hours for this activity.
When does the activity take place?
Courses run Saturdays and occasional weekdays from February to October.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age 16.
Minimum height 5 ft 2 ins.
Maximum chest measurement 50 ins.
What about the weather?
The weather should not be cause for cancellation of this activity, in fact the more mud the better! If however the course is cancelled you will be offered an alternative date.
Can I bring spectators?
Spectators are welcome. A fee of £10 is payable for spectators aged 10 years and older (this is to cover the cost of refreshments and a ride on a military vehicle). Children under 10 years are free – fees payable on the day (sorry but no unaccompanied children)
Unfortunately NO DOGS are permitted on the Tank Driving site.
What else do I need to know?
Tea and Coffee will be complimentary at the Training area.
Lunch is not included but may be reserved at one of the local inns.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
Kindly note that each centre has their own cancellation policy and fees. Some centres may not allow a booking to be cancelled or changed once it has been made. Please call us for further details.
