What does the activity include?
Upon arrival you will be greeted and briefed by your expert instructor on the format and techniques required for this exhilarating experience. You will then take to the wheel of the sporty 6 geared MINI Cooper S. With an expert instructor always by your side, you can really push the car voted 'best hot hatch in 2002' to its limits. At the end of the experience you will be debriefed and join a question & answer session and certificate presentation.
Where does the experience take place?
Rockingham in Northamptonshire, Wigan in Lancashire or Donington in Derbyshire.
What should I wear/take?
Long sleeve shirts, long trousers and light flat-soled shoes are required. Crash helmets will be provided. Where a helmet is required for an experience it is mandatory and there will be no exceptions.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Please allow approximately 2 hours on site, the actual drive time is approximately 10 miles.
When does the activity take place?
Rockingham: Selected Saturdays between February and November
Wigan and Donington: Selected weekend and weekdays throughout the year.
We recommend you book at least six to eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Max weight is 18 stone
Minimum height 5'2"
Maximum height 6'4".
You must have held a full and current driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, which you must take on the day.
Participants are required to sign a disclaimer before taking part.
Any persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to sign the form on their behalf.
What about the weather?
In the unlikely event of the course being cancelled due to weather conditions an alternative date will be offered to you. Please ring the Weather Hotline on 01536 271279 before you leave your home.
Can I bring spectators?
Spectators are allowed (Strictly no dogs).
What else do I need to know?
Please take your driving licence with you on the day.
The length of the above driving times are approximate, there may be some waiting time as the cars are shared.
The operator reserves the right to substitute any vehicle due to unforeseen circumstances such as mechanical failure.
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
Personal accident & cancellation insurance are included.
Kindly note that each centre has their own cancellation policy and fees. Some centres may not allow a booking to be cancelled or changed once it has been made. Please call us for further details.
