What does the activity include?
DAY ONE:
-Overnight stay in a country house hotel for driver and one guest, the night prior to The Formula One Experience
- Stay includes an evening meal for the driver and guest
- Welcome from members of the Formula 1 team at the hotel
- Formula One Experience familiarisation from the F1 team, giving details of the following day's activities
- Opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside and locations around the historic market town of Market Bosworth
DAY TWO:
- Breakfast at the hotel for driver and guest
- Transfer from the hotel to the racetrack
- Welcome, coffee and biscuits
- Initial briefing
- Familiarisation laps in a BMW Alpina D3
- 5 driving laps in Porsche or Ferrari (or similar spec vehicle)
- 7 laps in a Caterham Super 7
- 10 laps in a Vauxhall Lotus Single Seater
- 8 laps in a Formula 1 Car
- Extra Formula One laps available at an additional cost
- High-speed passenger ride in sports car
- Hot lunch included for driver and guest
- De-brief and presentation, including commemorative photograph, Formula One Driving certificate and gift pack
- Return transfer to hotel
Where does the experience take place?
The course is held at Mallory Park Racing Circuit in Leicestershire.
What should I wear/take?
Please wear casual clothing and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We suggest a tracksuit or jeans with trainers or soft shoes.
How long should I allow for this experience?
You should allow one full day for this activity.
When does the activity take place?
Courses are held on selected weekdays from April to September.
We recommend you book at least eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Drivers must be over 25 years old.
You must have held a full, valid licence (with no more than 6 points) for more than 2 years (too be produced on the day).
Height: Min 5' 2" Max 6' 4".
Weight: Max 18 stone
Maximum girth around chest and upper arms 58". For further information, please contact eXhilaration.
What about the weather?
If the activity is cancelled due to weather conditions you will be offered an alternative date. Kindly note that it is only the driving part of the activity that will be rebooked, the hotel stay cannot be taken again.
Can I bring spectators?
Spectators are welcome.
