What does the activity include?
On arrival you will be introduced to the husky handler and meet the dogs. You will have the chance to pet the animals and put on their harnesses, whilst your handler explains a little bit about the dogs such as their history, what they do and why and where they come from.
Finally it’s time for the two of you to hop on our custom built sled where you will experience the excitement of a husky ride, so just sit back and relax.
You will have a minimum of eight dogs pulling you through stunning countryside with dramatic views of the Darent Valley, whilst the handler does all the hard work of controlling the Huskys. Upon arrival back at the centre the Huskys will be put away and watered whilst you enjoy a hot drink and a piece of cake.

What should I wear/take?
The actual Husky ride will last for approximately 1 ½ hours but you should allow approximately 2 hours for the whole experience.

When does the activity take place?
The experience is available on selected dates from October to March subject to availability. Kindly note that weekend dates are extremely popular and cannot be guaranteed.
We recommend you book at least eight to twelve weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum age 15 years.
Maximum weight per person is 18 stone.
A good level of fitness is required, the experience is not suitable if you have a heart condition, back, spine or neck problems, suffer from epilepsy or are pregnant.
What about the weather?
Should the experience be cancelled due to poor weather conditions then an alternative date will be offered to you. This is however at the discretion of the instructor.
Can I bring spectators?
Unfortunately spectators are not permitted.
What else do I need to know?
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue.
